INAUGURAL LEADERSHIP AWARD FOR FORMER CUMMINS CEO
Former Cummins CEO Tim Solso has been selected as the winner of the inaugural Mitch Daniels Leadership Prize. Solso will receive a bronze sculpture and select the recipient of the $50,000 cash prize. The ceremony will be held at the J.W. Marriot in Indianapolis Oct. 24. Under Solso’s 12 years of leadership, Cummins doubled revenue and tripled international sales. His efforts increased employment and business opportunities for all Hoosiers. The Daniels Prize is intended to honor exceptional Hoosier leaders who echo Governor Daniels' dedication to bold vision and the ambitious pursuit of excellence, and in the process inspire rising leaders toward extraordinary gains for Indiana.
