PAROLEE NABBED IN ATTEMPTED ANHYDROUS THEFT
Johnson County authorities arrested one man in connection with the theft of anhydrous ammonia late last week. Police and fire responded to a strong smell of anhydrous and at the Farmer’s Co-op store. Nearby investigators found evidence of a theft from a tank and Chester Sidwell hiding in the bed of a truck. It’s believed two other accomplices fled the scene. Records indicate Sidwell is on parole for dealing in methamphetamine, he is being held.
