EDINBURGH MAN SENTENCED IN BURGLARY CASE
An Edinburgh man was sentenced last week to seven years in prison for theft of a laptop. Raymond Chandler, 52, was sentenced Sept. 5 in Johnson Superior Court for aiding in burglary, a Class B felony. In January, Chandler helped steal a laptop computer from the home of a neighbor of his niece in Edinburgh. The computer was the property of Edinburgh High School and was later recovered in Indianapolis. Chandler will be on parole when released.
