GET CONNECTED: JOHNSON COUNTY HERITAGE DAY
Johnson County Museum’s Heritage Day will be Saturday October 5th, as part of the Franklin Fall Festival. The museum will present a day full of interactive exhibits, live music, and hands-on activities for all ages. Blacksmith and whittling demonstrations, apple butter sampling, and Civil War re-enactments are only some of the activities the public is welcome to enjoy, free of charge, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the museum on 135 North Main Street in downtown Franklin. The Johnson County Historical Society is a non-project education institution set on collecting, preserving, and interpreting material culture of our region.
