THEFT, FORGERY LEADS TO JAIL TIME
An Indianapolis woman has been sentenced to six years in prison in a complicated theft and forgery case. In January 2012, Heather Clise, 25, of Indianapolis, gave detectives the name and identifying information of an acquaintance during a theft and forgery investigation. Clise was able to maintain the identity through the sentencing phase of the case. After sentencing, the victim came forward and helped police unravel Clise’s misinformation. The victim’s record was expunged.
