FRANKLIN ROAD WORK GRINDS ON
Franklin motorists will experience a fall full of road work. The city will spend $1.1 million in paving 11 city streets, and add sealant to Knollwood Farms, Deer Run, and streets on the city’s east side. The heftiest project, though, will be the mile-section of Hurricane Road between Arvin Drive and city limits, which will cost $252,000. Reportedly, no road will be closed for more than a week. The city decided to pay an addition $800,000 on repairs and pavement for much needed maintenance. Crews will begin the work in October and are scheduled to be finished before December.
