INDIANA RAIL ROAD COMPANY GETS CUMMINS ENGINE
A Cummins Inc. QSK95 will power a locomotive owned by the Indiana Rail Road Company. The 16-cylinder engine is one of the most potent high-speed diesel engines to be installed in a locomotive. The engine will remain the property of Cummins Inc. and will hit the rails by mid-2014. An official announcement will made today during the Railway Interchange Show in Indianapolis. The engine meets the latest EPA emissions standards.
