CASH, METH SEIZED IN COLUMBUS TRAFFIC STOP
Columbus police seized over $30,000 in cash and about two pounds of crystal methamphetamine during a routine traffic stop Monday night. Kenneth Reed, 32, of Brownstown, was stopped for disregarding a signal at Second and California streets just before 8 p.m. During the investigation, Reed could not produce a valid drivers license and gave false information. Police determined he was driving on a suspended license and made an arrest for false informing and driving while suspended. Officers found the cash and drugs during a search of the vehicle Reed was driving. Reed is being held in the Bartholomew County Jail.
