CENTER GROVE WALKWAY TO BE MADE SAFER
A walkway between two Center Grove schools will be moved to increase safety for students. The Johnson County Highway Department will remove and replace the crosswalk on Stones Crossing Road between Center Grove High School and Center Grove Middle School Central, where there is better lighting. Teachers, students and parents have had issues in the past, especially during drop-off and pick-up hours. Total cost for the project will be right around $200,000, with 90 percent of the project covered by a federal grant.
