PENCE ENCOURAGES FLU PREVENTION
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence rolled up his sleeve to raise awareness about flu prevention. Indiana’s top executive got his flu vaccine along with Indiana Health Commissioner Bill Van Ness at the Statehouse, in a Thursday morning press event. Epidemiologist, Pam Pantones says the vaccine takes about 10 to 14 days to become effective. The flu vaccine is in ample supply this year. Other prevention suggestions are washing hands frequently, cover your cough and avoid repeated contact with eyes, nose, mouth and ears. For more tips about flu prevention look online at cdc.gov.
